SIF quotations boomed on BVB in the past week, as the BET-FI index gained some 32 percent.
Analysts expect shares to continue to register an upward trend in the coming days, but added that, at least in today’s session, the market will have to set its trend without outside “help,” considering that most stock exchanges in Western Europe will be closed for Catholic Easter. Compa Sibiu was this week’s winner, with a 66.35 percent rise, on a market where only nine companies ended in the red, while SIF Banat-Crisana (SIF1) gained 47 percent, the highest increase in the SIF sector.
“Short and medium-term trend indicators are obviously continuing to give positive signals. Most stock exchanges will be closed on Monday, as they were on Friday, but agitation will begin on the second day of the week due to first quarter financial reports posted by multinational companies,” said analysts of the KTD Invest financial advisory company.
