By mid-September, 3,485 projects worth RON 25.34 billion (€7.04 bln) were submitted, with 247 of these approved, for a total value of RON 6.90 billion (€1.91 bln). Of this total, RON 4.84 billion (€1.34 bln) are EU funds.
While small and medium-sized businesses (SME) submitted half of the total applications, these 1,702 projects amounted to a mere €1.42 billion.
