By the end of 2009, Carrefour Romania is to have some 13,000 employees, according to the company’s Human Resource Manager, Ana Dumitru.
“The sustained expansion rate will require employing some 3,000 new workers in 2008-2009,” Dumitru added. Carrefour Romania currently has 8,500 employees, of which some 4,500 are working in hypermarkets outside Bucharest. A further 1,000 people are working in its Carrefour Express and Artima supermarkets.
