However, the 4.8 percent growth is almost 10 times lower compared to the 43.5 percent increase registered in the second quarter of 2008.
On the other hand, the sales growth amounted to 20.7 percent, without calculating the impact of the exchange rate.
As far as the second quarter of 2009 is concerned, sales amounted to €282 million on the local market, 3 percent higher on April-June 2008.
At a group level, the retailer posted 2 percent drop in sales in H1, to €46.16 billion.
