Cefin Holding and Teesland signed an agreement last year to create the Champ joint-venture, which will invest in industrial parks.
The company plans to build five or six small and medium-sized industrial parks in 2008, stretching over 6 to 10 hectares. Each unit will worth around 40 million euros, said Cefin Holding's representatives.
Teesland paid 70 million euros to purchase the A1 industrial park from Cefin Holding and plans to spend an additional 60 or 70 million euros to develop logistics and industrial spaces countrywide.
The British investment fund plans to build industrial parks for smaller companies seeking to rent less than 500 square meters, according to the general manager Mickola Wilson.
Cefin Holding also operates in Italy, Hungary and Bulgaria. In Romania, the company is active in the industrial business, real estate and the car industry.
