Three of Petrom’s most important managers have been or will be replaced: the Human Resource Manager, the Head of the Legal Department, and the Manager of Mergers & Acquisitions and Capital Market Relations.
The company announced yesterday the replacement of Lacramioara Diaconu, Manager of M&A and Capital Market Relations. According to a company report, Lacramioara Diaconu has become the new Manager of the Energy Division. This division, created for the administering of all electricity projects, became operational at the beginning of this month. The energy division will be in charge of the construction of the 860 MW thermoelectrical plant (project evaluated at €500 million) and future hydro and wind source electricity projects.The division is currently managed directly by Petrom’s Deputy CEO, Werner Schinhan, who announced he would step down at the end of the year. At present, the mergers and acquisitions department is also directly managed by Schinhan.
“Lacramioara Diaconu is both Manager of the Energy Division and Manager of Mergers and Acquisitions and Capital Market Relations, until a new manager is appointed to the latter position,” company officials told Business Standard.
Petrom’s Human Resource Manager, Marian Tudoroiu, was replaced by Cristina Ionescu. Dan Costinescu has taken over as the company’s Manager of Corporate Business and Head of the Legal Department from Marian Dinu.A new company, Petrom Distributie Gaze, was established at the beginning of 2007, as part of Petrom’s gas division, supervised by Werner Schinhan. This new company is the result of a split in the portfolio of Harald Kraft, Head of Petrom’s Gas Department, and a restructuring process required by the European Union between regulated and non-regulated activities in this sector.
