Christmas presents make up 30% of Coty Romania sales

Coty will launch three new brands in Romania this fall. It currently owns Adidas, Rimmel, Astor, Celine Dion, Beckham, Esprit, Kylie Minogue, Kate Moss, Pierre Cardin and Pret a Porter brands. Adidas was the best sold brand last year. Coty plans to introduce several new products to the Romanian market, such as Jennifer Lopez and Calvin Klein.

The company is number one on the Romanian women’s perfume market and number two on the men’s scent market. The local cosmetics market is estimated to reach €1 billion within three years. Main companies on the market are Amway, Oriflame, Avon, Procter & Gamble, Unilever, Henkel and L’Oreal.
