City Grill targets €15 mln in turnover in 2008

“We will open a further two City Cafe locations, and two City Grill restaurants. Furthermore, we will also open two Buongiorno brand restaurants,” Petrescu said.

Dragos Petrescu said that he plans to open City Grill locations abroad. The first countries targeted for expansion are the Republic of Moldova and Bulgaria. Petrescu also intends to invest in a City Grill brand hotel in Predeal. The company will build small hotels and buy units already on the market. Main areas of interest are Bucharest, Sinaia and Predeal.

City Grill’s competitors are the La Mama, Trattoria Il Calcio and Ruby Tuesday restaurant chains.
