Cluj Napoca, one of the top cities in terms of new houses

The central city of Sibiu ranks second, with 630 new houses built, while Constanta ranks third, with 620 units. Craiova is on the last place, where no new house has been built.

According to DTZ Echinox, Cluj also ranks first in terms of houses to be finalized in the next two-three years, with 7,850 units, followed by Iasi, with 4,500 units and Constanta, with 3,300 houses. Craiova also ranks last in this top, with 310 units.

In Bucharest, 5,500 new houses were finalized, while 20,000 will be delivered in the following years. According to DTZ Echinox estimates, the Bucharest residential market increase by 7,000 units in 2008 alone.
