Companies are not buying cheaper cars for managers

According to the latest study made by Mercer research company on the local market, companies used to provide BMW, Audi and Volvo cars for top managers, who could exchange them after three years.

Amid the current situation, many companies redrafted their acquisition policy as far as company cars are concerned. Some of them cancelled purchase plans for part of the cars scheduled to be acquired in 2009, while others decided to extend the usage time for the cars already owned," according to the PR specialist of Mercedes Benz Romania, Oana Schiler.

Meanwhile, in order to boost sales, while the auto market is shrinking, dealers are offering significant discounts, depending on the number if cars purchased and the potential of clients.
