Companies need entrepreneur-employees

“What we need now is entrepreneurial and inventive people, who seek solutions, make decisions, and do not expect to receive orders from the management,” said Adrian Stanciu, Managing Partner of the Human Synergistics consultancy company, specializing in organizational culture.

Entrepreneurial spirit can be efficient in companies with a flat organizational structure, which leads to easier contact with clients, and quicker decision-making, said Anca Podoleanu, former HR Manager of Vodafone Romania, and currently Manager of the Choice Consulting company.

“The company’s set of values and its organizational culture creates the profile of key employees. If employees are no longer efficient, it is not necessarily their fault, but that of the direction defined by the company. The solution is not to bring in new employees with the needed profile, but changing the attitude of ones you have,” said Podoleanu.
