The National Authority for Consumer Protection (ANPC) fined ten airlines for some €77,000 for not respecting passenger rights. "The fines were applied in accordance with the number of passengers on delayed flights, as well as waiting time for departure," said ANPC President.
The control was carried out on 16 airlines, who had delays or cancelled flights in the 3-5 January period, with Blue Air, Malev, Air France, Wizz Air, Carpatair, Tarom, MyAir, Alitalia, British Airways and Lufthansa were fined.
