“Many Romanian owners, who, in previous years, managed to rise above their businesses, returned as general managers in their companies. Many returned with an active approach. People got scared and returned to CEO [Chief Executive Officer] level,” Georgescu said.
He added that the clear short-term goals target survival, as, at present, the group uses own financing sources, and will wait for the market to rebound before considering listing on the stock exchange.
