In spite of this serious setback, President Traian Băsescu so far refuses to consider appointing another Prime Minister. While the parliamentary opposition announced it would not vote in favor of Croitoru, members of Băsescu’s Democratic Liberal Party (PDL) indicated there is a chance the vote will be favorable.
