The most important increase, of 220 percent, came from Curiero Post mailing services, worth €4.2 million in the first half of the year. Moreover, the delivery volume increased as a result of an increase in clients.
"By the end of H1, we managed to achieve 46 percent of the business estimated for this year. Considering that the volume is considerably higher in the second half of the year, we will meet our objective of €16.6 million worth of business for 2007, twice that of last year," said Curiero President, Bogdan Carcu.
The company will continue to develop its storage and processing facilities to absorb an even higher volume from its clients, added Carcu. The company official explained that estimates and plans will not be affected by the increase in Romanian Post Office prices. Curiero provides rapid and express delivery for mail or cargo nationwide. To date, Curiero has invested some €6.8 million.
