Czech companies pumped EUR 29m in Romania last year, official says

The official noted Czech companies are involved in both commerce and IT and consultancy services in Romania.

Bilateral trade between the two countries last year amounted to 500 million euros.

The Czech Republic, having half of Romania’s population, last year had a GDP of 125.7 billion euros. Romania’s GDP stood at approximately 118 billion euros, according to data released by the European Union’s statistics office Eurostat.
