Dacia sales to increase 50 percent, up to 350,000 units

Of total sales, 110,000 cars will be distributed in Romania, the same as last year, Fourmont told a press conference.

“Market conditions are difficult, and it is hard to foresee how people will view the Dacia Sandero and the reshaped Dacia Logan,” he said. This is the main reason for keeping local sales estimates close to last year’s levels. As for exports, these depend on production capacity, added Fourmont.

Dacia’s total sales increased 17.4 percent in 2007, up to 230,000 units.

Dacia yesterday launched a new version of its Logan Sedan, worth €6,400, including VAT.
