Daimler considering a car factory in Romania

German auto group Daimler could build a car factory in Romania or Poland, where it will produce A and B Class models as of 2011, according to Thomson Financial.
"The company is analyzing these two options," said a manager of Mercedes. He added that the project is presently in an early stage.
Daimler officials refused to comment on the information.
The car producer division of Daimler, called Mercedes-Benz Cars, plans to finalize the technical concept for a new generation A and B class cars in the second half of the year. (M.S.)
