Dascalu does not expect a higher level of competition in the cities where the group is present, despite the announcements made by a series of developers regarding new malls, considering that most projects have been canceled.
In terms of finance, “we have no money-related problems, as these projects are fully financed by several banks. Lenders have been very serious with us so far and they do not show signs of fatigue, in spite of the crisis,” Dascalu added.
“This is a difficult period but this does not mean we are stopping business. We have been on the market for a long time and we have been through similar periods,” said the owner of Iulius Group, which includes four malls.
