Demand for construction materials leads to soaring Baumix sales in H1

The results confirm estimates made early this year, of a 75 percent increase in turnover by the end of 2008.

According to Dana Manole, Baumix Economic Manager, adhesives have a 60 percent ratio of total sales in H1.

Baumix owns two factories in Romania and will begin construction on a third production unit, to double production capacity to 150,000 tons a year. The company will invest €2 million in 2008 to modernize its production units.
