Deutsche Bahn AG thinks strategy in a move to set up company in Romania, Poland

Norbert Bensel, the head of Deutsche Bahn’s logistics arm, said the group is carefully monitoring the privatization process in Romania. Bensel noted he expects the state owned logistics companies and the railway transportation units to be sold for less than 100 million euros.

Financial Times Deutschland reports Deutsche Bahn is ready to pump some 100 million euros in Poland, within a partnership with the state.

The company is currently trying to consolidate Europe’s railway industry, after passenger traffic lowered lately. Deutsche Bahn AG is Germany's state- owned railway company.
