Developers sell homes for less than €60,000

In this context, over 60 companies will participate in the Expo First Home real estate fair between 17 and 19 July, in the Palatul Copiilor (Palace of Children) in Bucharest, where they will present housing units meeting the requirements of the governmental program.

“The least expensive home presented at the fair is a 40 square meter studio apartment in Bucharest, at €27,000, and one in the town of Calarasi [southern Romania] with 60 useful square meters, for the same price. There are also villas, between €45,000-75,000 on the outskirts of Bucharest or in Berceni area [southern Bucharest], with 500 square meters of land,” the representative of the event’s organizers, Cosmin Radu, told Business Standard.

JQ Development, that constructed the Lotus Office building, will launch, at the fair, a residential project with 700 apartments in Tartasesti, near Bucharest, with prices not exceeding €60,000. The most expensive housing unit will be a three-bedroom apartment, with 78 built sqm, and which will cost €60,000, VAT included, fully finished.
