The best-paid and most sought after development managers are ones with experience in the pharmaceutical, real estate and retail fields, whose growth rate is rapid in Romania.
“We are in the process of recruiting a business development manager for whom the employer is willing to pay a net salary worth €3,500-4,000 per month, to which is added a fee and performance bonus,” according to Grafton Recruitment’s Country Manager, Florin Ochiana. The bonus can reach 50 percent of the total annual income, he said.
Development managers can earn more if they are working on regional or national projects, as companies also cover relocation - accommodation and transportation cost.
According to Hart Human Resource Consulting’s Senior Consultant Loredana Vladareanu, companies on the local market are willing to pay even more than €4,000 in net monthly wage to experienced business managers, plus fees amounting to 5-15 percent of the income.
