Distrigaz Sud: €1 bln in net sales in 2007

The rise in turnover is due to an increase in the price of gas in 2007, the process of aligning utility prices in the European Union space, and the effect of expanding its client and network portfolio.

“Last year, we had turnover of RON 3.3 bln. This year our forecast will depend on the weather and tariffs set by the National Energy Regulatory Agency,” according to a statement for Business Standard by Bernard Arnaud, the company’s General Manager.

Distrigaz Sud intends to become the top integrated supplier of electricity and natural gas, added Arnaud. “Distrigaz Sud is in the process of creating a dual electricity-gas offer, which is not yet finalized. We need to find electricity, said Arnaud.
