Doha Bank opens its first unit in Romania, eyes the country’s corporate industry

The movement marks the start of the bank’s expansion in eight countries. Doha Bank is already present in New York, Dubai, Singapore, Turkey, Tokyo and Shanghai.

Romania has one of the most important economies in Eastern Europe and it is a gate to the European markets, an official with the bank said.

He noted Doha Bank will focus on Romania’s corporate area and will support trade between the Middle East and Europe.
