Brokers say that the sharp upward trend registered over the past few months is about to be over, and the market will enter a time of positive fluctuations and lower volumes.
“I believe that the Stock Exchange will enter a new stage in the coming months, a consolidation stage, when we will probably see some drops, and the market will enter a normal state. A strong growth comeback could take place in the fall,” said Mihai Chisu, Broker at IFB Finwest.
Referring to the recent decline on BVB, Chisu said that the important thing is for prices to remain in their present area. “If we were to lose again what we have gained, almost all hope would be shattered, and a rebound would be much more difficult to achieve,” the official added.
The value of transactions on the regulated market was RON 21.7 mln (€5.2 mln), down 22 percent compared to the previous session.
