Drugmaker Biofarm Bucuresti unveils 4.5% higher third-quarter net following boost in revenues

The company’s net result stood at 2.48 million lei. Revenues went up 25.8 percent, to 16.07 million lei.

Biofarm’s nine-month net profit stood at 11.64 million lei, up 17.28 percent against the same period last year. The drugmaker’s total revenues in the first nine months of the year rose to 47 million lei, up 11.5 percent against 2006.

The company’s profit in 2006 stood at 12.71 million lei, up 8.5 percent against 2005 when Biofarm reported 11.71 million lei.

Biofarm Bucuresti has a share capital of 101.83 million lei. The company's shares are listed on the RASDAQ electronic exchange since November 1996.
