There were 1.5 million DTH service clients by the end of 2007, with an average income of €5 per user.
“I believe there will be 2.4 million clients by the end of 2008,” said Amit Levin, President of Boom TV.
The price of DTH services could increase this year, due to the price difference between the Romanian market and other European markets. Levin added that the value of offered services is high, and operators might have to raise prices to reduce losses.
