Edipresse and Axel Springer make a profit in Romania

The Romanian Edipresse AS company, established through a partnership between Edipresse (60 percent) and Axel Springer AG (40 percent), reported a 20 percent rise in turnover, to €11 mln, due to the launching of several important publications.  The German Axel Springer trust reported turnover in 2006 worth €2.37 billion, while the Swiss Edipresse group posted turnover same year of some €550 mln.
