Electrolux Romania net sales up 7% in 2007

The value of investments last year rose to €1.43 mln. Investments made by the Swedish group in the northern Satu Mare factory targeted the introduction and development of new technologies, more competitive products, improving work conditions and work safety, and reorganizing the management system.

The company has been present in Romania since 1995 and includes a sales and marketing division in Bucharest, and a stove factory in Satu Mare. Most of Zanussi brand stoves in Europe are produced in this factory. Electrolux exports to Russia, the Balkans, the Baltic States, Israel, Finland, Sweden and Norway.
