The company’s losses surged 78.2 percent last year, reaching RON 97.9 mln (€26.6 mln), while net sales rose 28 percent, to RON 183.6 mln (€49.8 mln), compared to 2007. Electroputere budgeted investments worth €7.55 mln for this year. The enterprise’s capital was raised by RON 21.3 mln, to RON 33.7 mln.
The firm’s Deputy General Manager, Cornel Nica, recently told Business Standard that Electroputere Craiova has orders worth some €60 mln, which are to be delivered in 2009 and 2010.
