Electroputere is analyzing an investment program worth €10 mln

Some information on the market indicates that Al-Arrab, the firm’s majority shareholder, intends to suspend investments. These rumors have not been confirmed by company officials, who told Business Standard that an investment plan will be adopted within one month, at most.

“According to the program for 2009 we are discussing, the sum amounts to some €10 million,” the company’s Deputy General Manager, Cornel Nica, told Business Standard. Nica added that the funds will be used for modernization, a new steam plant, a modern dye complex, and the rehabilitation of buildings.
