Total Electroputere revenues rose by 53.6 percent from January-September, to €43.5 million, while losses dropped by some 10 percent, to €7.6 million. Expenditures increased 39 percent to €51.1 million, according to the company’s financial report.
Electrocutere is listed on BVB and has a share capital worth €3.38 mln. On Wednesday, its shares were traded for RON 0.239 (€0.065) per share, up 14.9 percent compared to the previous session. At this quotation, the company’s market capitalization amounts to €8.07 million.
The company was privatized in October 2007, when Al-Arrab Company Ltd. offered €2.3 million for a 62.82 percent share, sold by the Authority for State Assets Recovery (AVAS). Al-Arrab also took over all Electroputere debts, worth some €61 million, and committed to invest a further €20 mln in the company.
