Elgeka Ferfelis net sales increases 25% following portfolio expansion

Last year, the company, distributor of products by canned meat producer Antrefrig and sweets producer Cream Line, posted turnover of €59 mln, some 14 percent higher year-on-year, due to new brands, such as paper-based consumer goods by Kimberly Clark, Wilkinson shaving blades, and Pompea lingerie.

Ionnis Ferfelis, President of Elgeka-Ferfelis Romania, said that the company is negotiating to take over the national distribution for other suppliers and further develop business with current suppliers.

The company plans to invest in improving its information system in Romania and to expand central warehousing in Bucharest. The local branch of Elgeka owns 75 percent of Elgeka-Ferfelis Bulgaria shares.

The company also intends to change the wrapping and communication campaign for the Antrefrig brand.
