The company expects turnover worth €40 million on this segment this year, 60 percent higher than in 2007. eMAG had a 20 percent laptop market share in 2007 and plans to maintain this ratio in 2008.
“The market is regressing at this point and we hope the situation will improve,” said Radu Apostolescu, Online Development Manager.
Sales to companies make up 40 percent of total turnover. eMAG plans to expand nationally through logistic centers in major cities. The company owns 70 percent of ’s online market, and estimates a doubling of sales in 2008, to €150 mln.
