Emergency ordinance to modify private pensions laws

The ordinance will be necessary to determine the manner in which employees who have not opted for a private pension contract will be assigning to one. The solution identified by the Minister of Labour and CSSPP is to assign some 300,000 employees equally among 18 private pension companies.

Another problem for the private pension market is a letter signed by six civil society organizations, requesting that private pension legislation include a guaranteed minimum legal yield of contributions paid by participants, equal to the rate of inflation, to be supported by fund administrators.
