Emil Pop, Immorent, and Donau Finanz, partner for a €70 mln office building

“We began a partnership with Immorent and Donau Finanz as of the beginning of 2008, but did not initiate work on the project because we expanded the land we owned through a new acquisition, finalized in the fall of 2008. Now we need to work on the documentation for authorization and financing,” Pop told Business Standard.

Moreover, Eka Investment plans to begin work this year on the company’s largest project, worth some €20 mln. Eka Business Center VII will have some 20,000 sqm of offices. “The loan will be obtained from a foreign bank, which is not present on the local market. We turned to foreign lenders because we obtained better conditions and the loan is less expensive. The bank will cover 80 percent of the financing,” the businessman said.
