Epson Romania hikes 30% revenues estimate for the year to EUR 13m

The company is now targeting revenues 45 percent higher than last year.

The company’s nine-month market share stands at 15 percent on the projectors’ market and 10 percent on the printers’ market. Epson Romania saw market share for video projectors reach 13 percent at the end of its fiscal year on March 31.

The company is part of Japan’s Seiko Epson, founded in 1942, a company which produced the first printer ever in 1968. The mother company operates 117 companies worldwide. Its headcount stands at about 88,000 employees worldwide.

Epson rolled into the Romanian market in 1993 and opened its first office here in October last year.
