The company posted turnover worth RON 389.6 mln (€115 mln) in 2007, 20 percent higher year-on-year. Eurial Invest is controlled by shareholders of Trust Motors, which imports the Peugeot brand to Romania, and estimates turnover worth €230 mln this year. Trust Motors sold 16,959 cars in 2007 and plans to sell 18,500 cars this year.
The import of new cars increased 49.2 percent in 2007, to 204,719 units. Stagnation is expected to set in on the auto market this year, after eight years of growth.
