“Eurisko’s turnover in the first nine months of the year is close to the amount forecast for the entire year. By the end of the year, we believe we will exceed by 10-15 percent the €12 million business level initially announced, with a 10-20 percent profit ratio,” explained Eurisko Managing Partner, Radu Lucianu. In 2005, the company had total business of some €6 million.
Eurisko has a new General Manager as of October 1, in the person of Adrian Mihai Capraru, who took over the responsibilities carried out last year by two Managing Partners, Radu Lucianu and Alexandra Dimofte. The two partners will continue to attract investment funds on the Romanian market, provide consultancy to major real estate projects, manage business partnerships and supervise financial activities.
Adrian Capraru worked with Eurisko from 1997-1999, and is one of the company’s founder. In 1999, he left for the Czech Republic, where he worked in the residential department of Czech mobile communications company Oskar. He participated in Oskar’s accession to the market, by mediating the rental of over 130 apartments for the company’s employees. From April 2001 - 2003, the new Eurisko Manager was a Manager of the TD Canada Trust financial institution, and from 2003 to recently, he owned a real estate consultancy company, which he sold. His mandate as General Manager is for three years, but he did not mention whether he has become a partner.
Romanian real estate has shown a decline in yields, reaching values below six percent on the office space segment, a level close to that of other Eastern and Central European states, such as Poland and Hungary.
