“Next year, we will focus on finalizing the Cefin Logistics Park, where two buildings are still to be developed. Early next year, we will start work on the Orhideea office building on the 7,200 square meter plot we have acquired,” Europolis Romania Managing Director, Marian Roman, told Business Standard. The building is currently in the design stage, he added.
Orhideea Business Center is the first project developed by Europolis in Romania since it entered the local market in 2003. It previously operated on the real estate transaction segment, but yields dropped below the level accepted by the fund. The first Europolis investment on the local market was the acquisition of Europe House office building from Israeli developer Globe Trade Centre for some €26 million. Europolis also owns the Cefin Logistics Park, developed by Italian Cefin company.
