Events worth €1.2 mln for WTC Bucharest

WTCB official said that the most important event organized last year was the General Meeting of the International Association of Francophone Mayors (AIMF) in Bucharest, with a participation of 98 delegations, including 240 mayors and deputy mayors of francophone cities, members of AIMF. The amount allocated for this event was €800,000, half from the state budget and half from the capital's budget.

According to Dana Seicu, one of the most important events organized by WTCB in 2007 was "Zilele Bucurestiului la Viena - Sampling Bucharest" (Bucharest Days in Vienna), carried out in collaboration with the Bucharest Local Administration.

In the near future, WTCB will organize "Festivalul Cafelei si al Ciocolatei" (the Coffee and Chocolate Festival), to take place from 23-25 November.

In addition to own events, WTCB also hosts major events, such as "Zilele Biz" (the Biz Days), and various real estate fairs. "Zilele Biz," considered one of the largest business to business events in Romania, begins today at WTCB.

In its 13 years of activity, WTCB has organized more than 900 national and international events, attracting over 10,000 companies in these activities, mostly small and medium-sized enterprises.

The World Trade Center concept, initiated with the construction of the twin towers in New York, means that every WTC is involved in promoting the local business community in the international environment.
