"According to preliminary results registered in the first nine months of the year, we estimate that the 2007 sales target will be surpassed by some 20 percent, especially due to the excellent evolution of international sales," Anca Crahmaliuc, Marketing Manager of Siveco Romania, told Business Standard.
The company is developing projects in Bulgaria, Moldova, Cyprus, the United Arab Emirates, and is about to launch projects in Macedonia, Albania, Bosnia, Montenegro, Serbia, Algeria, Morocco, Tunisia, Syria, Libya, Lebanon, Ukraine, Belarus, Azerbaijan, and Kazakhstan.
Siveco claimed a 21.2 percent share of the local Enterprise Application Software (EAS) market by the end of 2006. According to the International Data Corporation (IDC) market research company, the value of this market will soar by 21 percent in 2007 from the $53 mln level (some €35.64 mln) registered in 2006. Siveco's competitors on the domestic market are Oracle, SAP, and Wizrom.
