“I took this step for the optimization of the business. In any company in which there are multiple shareholders, the decision-making process is more difficult. The operation is actually a stock trade, which results in Oresa becoming shareholder of Fabryo and my taking control of Bau Profil,” Guzu told Business Standard.
“Our strategy in the near future, for which we do not yet have good visibility, but which we know will not be free of challenges, is to focus on companies in which we are majority shareholder, so that we can offer these companies all the support they need, and make quick adjustments,” the Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of Oresa Romania, Cornel Marian, told Business Standard.
Fabryo posted net sales worth €42 million in 2007 and initial estimates for 2008 indicated a 30 percent growth rate. The company has not announced its 2008 results but registered a 20 percent rise in business at the end of last year’s first six months.
