The company, formerly known as SC Fightersoft Multimedia SRL, changed its name following the acquisition of some of its shares by US Digicurve, producer and distributer of online multimedia content. The Romanian company is due to receive 40 million shares from Digicurve to distribute to its employees.
Digicurve began eyeing Fightersoft Multimedia Corporation after the former brought the first video streaming program (online television) to Romania.
Fightersoft Romania was established in 2005 by Orlando Matei and Adrian Iftimie. The company’s stock indicator on NASDAQ is FTMCB.OB.
