“We receive some 80 loans applications every day. At present there are 16 people analyzing these, but we will hire more staff, to some 30,” according to a declaration for Business Standard by Aurel Saramet, President of FNGCIMM.
By yesterday, the fund had received a total 602 applications, worth a total €25.2 million, and has already approved 464 of these. The eight lenders who have sent applictions on to FNGCIMM are: BRD Groupe Societe Generale, BCR, Alpha Bank, ATE Bank, Banca Transilvania, Piraeus Bank, Millennium Bank, and CEC Bank.
According to Saramet, an application which contains the full documentation is resolved by his staff in three days, although this does not happen all the time because the banks submit files with missing information.
