Fondul Proprietatea stands to lose €74 mln

The Fondul Proprietatea asset manager posted gross profit worth some RON 250 million (€74 mln) in 2007, over 2.5 times higher year-on-year.

However, this gain could turn into a loss, as the fund might be forced to register its provisions due to a drop in the value of its assets, with the most important being those of state-owned Hidroelectrica electricity company.
