Ford Romania, the local subsidiary of the U.S. carmaker, increased its share capital some 25 times, up to €260 million. The funds allocated to the investment plan in Romania will be available in no longer than five days.
In March last year, Ford took over 72.4 percent of the local Automobile Craiova manufacturer, following a deal worth €57 million.
Ford representatives said the company maintains its commitment to invest €675 million in its local factory. (M.S.)
