"We believe the EC's answer will be favorable. Ford experts are preparing all production activities - adjusting information, logistics, transport and distribution systems, training the employees and reorganizing all production lines", sources from DWAR management told Business Standard.
Economy and Finance Minister Varujan Vosganian said that he expects the European Commission to approve this takeover.
The 1,000 employees laid off in December are to resume work in early February.
The EC started investigations in the deal, alleging that Romanian government granted illegal state aids to Ford in taking over DWAR. Conclusions will be published in February.
