The investment will be made in spite of a decision by Economy and Finance Ministry not to provide Honsel facilities usually offered for large strategic investments. By 2011, the German company is to invest a total €140 million in Romania. Its annual production capacity is to amount to 500,000 combustion heads. In the first stage, €35 million will be allocated to the local factory.
The German group owns factories in Brazil, Germany and France, and is controlled by U.S. Riplewood Holdings investment fund.
